L&T Precision expands Tijuana facility, earns ISO 9001 certification

 L&T Precision, a TPC company and manufacturer of precision sheet metal and machined components, has completed an expansion of the finishing capabilities at its Tijuana, Mexico, facility. In addition, the plant has received ISO 9001 certification.


The finishing equipment and facility updates include a washer station, a masking room, two liquid paint booths, a powder booth, two ovens, a silkscreen room, and an integration room for part assembly. The facility enhancement also includes integration of technology across the manufacturing lines to capture operational data in real time for a nearly paperless operation.
